Which original documents can I order copies of online?
Copies of original documents can be ordered online for the following collections:

British Origins

• York Marriage Bonds and Allegations Index 1613-1839   About

National Wills Index

• Hertfordshire Wills Index 1415-1857   About
• Prerogative & Exchequer Courts of York Probate Index 1853-1858   About
• York Medieval Probate Index 1267-1500   About
• York Peculiars Probate Index 1383-1883   About

How do I order the documents?
To order a copy of an original document click the Add to cart button at the right of the record on the Results page.

The item will be added to your Shopping Cart.

Click View Cart or button to view or delete items. Click here to go to the Shopping Cart.

Click Checkout to confirm your order and proceed to the Payment page.

On the Payment page enter your payment details and click Submit button.

About 10-15 seconds after you have clicked the Submit button a confirmation page will appear stating that your order has been processed. You should then click Continue to return to Origins.net. You will receive an email to confirm your order.

Payments are processed by WorldPay Order details are transferred to the distributors for fulfilment:

• Borthwick Institute for Archives for York records
• Hertfordshire Archives and Local Studies for Hertfordshire wills.
